Why programmes stall

In our experience the underlying cause is almost always ineffective communication: the client could not define requirements precisely, and the delivery partner could not draw out enough information to meet the need.

How a recovery engagement runs
A fixed sequence with a written deliverable at each stage, so leadership always knows the position, the options and what happens next.
1. Discovery
We establish the original objectives, how they have shifted, and the business outcome the programme must now deliver.
2. Assessment
An independent review of the codebase, architecture, vendors and contracts, with a candid view of whether recovery or rebuild is the better investment. Not every programme is salvageable, and we will say so.
3. Asset assurance
Every client-owned asset, source code included, is located, secured and documented. At the end of this two-part assessment you receive a written report and a recommended course of action.
4. Stabilisation
Where recovery is viable we halt further loss and restore a dependable build. Where it is not, we salvage and repurpose assets to shorten the rebuild.
5. Delivery and handover
Structured testing confirms the platform performs. You receive documentation, a support plan, and a handover to your team with recommendations for future upgrades.
